With Behandlernet, Christian adn Tobias are building a solution to reduce waitlists for public psychologists across Denmark.
The mission is to make therapy more accessible for those who need it.
“We just couldn’t stop thinking about those who aren’t capable of being persistent in their search for help with their mental health, which is what you need to be in the current system.”
Having experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate and break through the public health care system when seeking mental health support, they couldn’t stop thinking of all the people who don’t manage to keep picking up the phone to call the next doctor or therapist and therefore won’t receive the support they need.

Over the past year, they have been doing field research, talking to therapists to gain insight into the practice and exploring whether this is something that actually can be solved. Now, they’re ready to bring their solution to market.
“Our focus from the beginning has been ‘how can we solve this massive societal issue?’ rather than ‘how can we build a huge business?’”
Balancing full-time studies at Copenhagen Business School with part-time jobs, Christian and Tobias are committed to developing Behandlernet.
“We have been passionate about solving this particular problem, but we also realised early on that we needed support on the business side – what to do next, where to focus, how to raise funding, etc. CSE has been instrumental in guiding us through that.”
Having been a part of CSE for a year, the space and community have played a huge part in making their startup journey possible.
“We initially came to CSE for a desk and a place to focus, but quickly realised how valuable it is to be surrounded by other founders, even though they’re working on something completely different.”
Looking ahead, the ultimate goal for Behandlernet is to provide their solution nationwide, ensuring that everyone who needs therapy can access it easily. In the shorter term, they hope to dedicate themselves to the startup full-time by their next startup anniversary.
